Clinique Cosmetics – How to Save Mega Money and Use All-natural Beauty Products

It is no secret that women all over the world seek perfect skin and hair and will pay through the nose to get the latest products to help them achieve this. Whilst these products may or may not work, you can however make inexpensive, natural beauty and hair treatments from ingredients that you already have in your home which will perform just as well as (if not better than ) products you purchase.

If you only have one natural beauty product taking a regular place in your cupboard, then take my advice and make it Olive Oil! It is an extremely versatile beauty product and can be used on just about every part of your body. Olive oil is also an excellent mascara remover and is much better for you and more effective than petroleum jelly based products and is highly beneficial to the skin around your eyes helping you to look naturally younger – and at over half the cost of Clinique cosmetics, now that’s good sense!

I recommend that you use just a few drops of olive oil in warm water and make sure you apply your favorite lotion afterwards to lock in the moisture and complete the deal. Another good natural remedy is beeswax and olive oil melted and poured into a small tin. This mixture makes a wonderful lip balm that will keep your lips soft and smooth for a long time after (and again, it is made from all natural substances that are cheap to buy and are good for your body and skin at the same time).

Adding just a few drops of olive oil to your bath water is simply the best skin softener you can imagine (just try it for yourself and see just how soft and moisturized your skin feels when you step out of the bath). And, if you’re feeling extra decadent, then add a few drops of essential oil will also give you a natural aromatherapy bath. Using this in conjunction with the baby oil works wonders believe me.

Another problem women often complain about are dry feet. But not any more! Before bed, rub olive oil into your dry, cracked feet but do not rinse them. Then, put a nice, cozy pair of socks on and go to sleep and forget all about it – by the morning your feet will have absorbed the moisture and will be noticeably better. In fact, dry feet can be healed after just one night of this treatment! Just try it and you will see what I mean when I say this beats any Clinique cosmetics hands down.

Once out of the bath, the benefits of olive oil don’t stop there, because a very small amount of olive oil applied to dry hair will condition it and get rid of any frizz. Olive oil makes a great leave-in conditioner. For the men out there, olive oil also works as a shaving cream for men with sensitive skin.

So take my word for it and don’t buy those expensive Sea Salt Scrubs, moisturisers, hair lotions and bath oils. Just make your own using natures natural ingredient olive oil. It really is not necessary to pay a lot of money for beauty treatment products. The things you have in your very own kitchen can often be the best beauty products available. Believe me, once you have tried these methods and realise how effective they are and how much money they will save you at the same time – you won’t go back, give it a go.

1. GHD Hair Straighteners

There is just something about these hair straighteners that shouts “wow” each and every time I use them on my hair. They are by far the best hair straighteners in town and do such an incredible job. GHD hair irons are fantastic at either straightening my hair or making it curly depending upon my mood and the look I am trying to go for. Regardless of what style I am after, GHD lets me do it easily and effectively.

2. Lipstick / Lip Gloss

Where would any girl be if they didn’t have their lipstick / lip gloss with them. Personally, I use lip gloss which gives my lips that extra shimmer and shine and I have been getting really good complements about it. The fuller your lips look, the more attention you will generate. Lips to me are very sensual and so deserve to be looked after and shown off.

3. Eye Liner

Eye liners are fantastic for getting attention to your eyes. They say you’re eyes are the windows to your soul so make the most of them by highlighting them with an eye liner than goes well with your skin tones and mascara.

4. Jimmy Choo Shoes

What can I say about Jimmy Choo that hasn’t been said already? Girls just buy a pair and thank me later, they look gorgeous and ever girl should have a pair in their wardrobe.

5. Sunglasses

Have you ever been in a club or walking down the road and just see some really cool chick getting all the attention? Yep, I bet she had shades on. Sunglasses just bring that element of coolness to a person whether it is sunny, light or dark, it doesn’t matter, they just look good. You may have even noticed this yourself but Kirsten Dunst has been showing off her white sunglasses recently. Try them on in some shops and she which colours suit you well.

6. Perfume

Everyone should make an effort to smell the best they can. Therefore why not try attracting men while you’re at it. Experiment with different perfumes until you find something you feel really suits your natural smell. Get friends opinions too so you get a different viewpoint which is a really good idea. Also, let me just quickly mention how important it is to make sure you have the right deodorant to keep yourself fresh and light. Maybe consider wearing a light body fragrance if perspiration is something you suffer from badly.

7. Makeup

If you have an uneven skin complexion or a few bumps or marks you want to cover up, makeup can be a girl’s best friend. It is still very important to keep looking after your skin by keeping it soft using moisturizers and toners and if you find yourself out in the sun for long periods of time, consider using sunscreen to protect yourself from getting burned.
